أعلن المبعوث الأممي الخاص الى اليمن، هانس غروندبرغ، اتفاق أطراف الصراع في اليمن على صفقة تبادل المحتجزين، في البلاد التي تشهد حربا منذ ثمان سنوات.

وقال مكتب المبعوث، إن اللجنة الاشرافية لتنفيذ اتفاق اطلاق سراح المحتجزين وتبادلهم بين الأطراف في اليمن اختتمت أمس اجتماعها السادس في العاصمة الأردنية عمّان بعد ستة أيام من المشاورات لتحديد أسماء المحتجزين الذين سيتم الإفراج عنهم بناءً على الأعداد التي تم الاتفاق عليها في مارس/آذار من العام الحالي.
وقال البيان، إن الأطراف اتفقت على تكثيف الجهود لتحديد قوائم المحتجزين بشكل نهائي وتوحيدها من قبل جميع الأطراف في أقرب وقت ممكن.
وأضاف أيضا أنه جرى الإتفاق على تسهيل زيارات اللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر إلى مراكز الاحتجاز للمساعدة في التحقق من الهويات.

وتابع: “إضافةً إلى ذلك، اتفقت الأطراف على إنشاء لجنة مشتركة بينهم لدعم عملية التحقق من هوية أسماء المحتجزين المدرجة في القوائم”.
وقال المبعوث الخاص غروندبرغ “يحدوني الأمل أن تحافظ الأطراف على التزامها باتفاقها، وأن لا تدخر جهداً في تحقيق اطلاق سراح ناجح للمحتجزين ضمن إطار العملية التي تيسّرها الأمم المتحدة. إن تحديد الأسماء خطوة أساسية صوب هذه الغاية.”
وأضاف، “إنه من المؤسف عدم اتفاق الأطراف على إطلاق سراح المحتجزين في هذا الوقت، مما سيؤدي إلى تحمّل المحتجزين وعائلاتهم المزيد من المعاناة والإنتظار وقتاً أطول حتى يتم لمّ شملهم.
وعليه أحثّ الأطراف على الانتهاء من تحديد قوائمهم في أقرب وقت ممكن مع إعطاء الأولوية للإفراج غير المشروط عن جميع المرضى والجرحى والأطفال المحتجزين، وكذلك الأشخاص المحتجزين تعسفياً، والمحتجزين السياسيين والصحفيين”.
