تفاجأت امرأة بزواجها من امرأة، بعد 8 سنوات من الزواج، في واحدة من أغرب حالات الزواج في العالم.

واكتشفت سيدة هندية بالصدفة أن زوجها امرأة متحولة جنسيًا، مما دفعها لإبلاغ الشرطة عنه في الحال.
واتهمت السيدة، في محضر تم رفعه إلى مركز شرطة جوتري، زوجها الطبيب فيراج فاردان (والذي كان يدعى في السابق فيجايتا (اسم أنثى) بالغش والاعتداء.

وأوضحت أنها التقت به على موقع خاص بالزواج قبل 9 سنوات، وتزوجا رسميًا في فبراير 2014 بحضور أفراد العائلة، وذهبا لقضاء شهر العسل في كشمير”، بحسب إفادة الشرطة.
وأشارت الشرطة، أنه رغم ذلك، لم يدخل الزوج بزوجته وظل يقدم الأعذار، وعندما ضغطت عليه، ادعى أن الحادث الذي تعرض له أثناء وجوده في روسيا قبل بضع سنوات جعله غير قادر على الدخول في علاقة، وسافر لفترة من أجل العلاج قبل أن تكتشف حقيقته.
