قال وزير الخارجية العماني بدر بن حمد بن حمود البوسعيدي، إن رؤية مسقط للسلام في اليمن تتلخص في تشكيل حكومة وطنية شاملة تتمثل فيها جميع المصالح وأصحاب الشأن من أشقائنا اليمنيين.

وأوضح البوسعيدي في حوار مع مجلة الأهرام العربي المصرية، إن المعاناة الإنسانية في هذا البلد العربي والجار الشقيق هائلة والخسائر فادحة، وكل يمني سوف يستفيد إذا أفضى وقف إطلاق النار الحالي إلى سلام دائم.
وأشار إلى أن النهج الذي اقترحه مبعوث الأمم المتحدة لليمن هانس غرونبرغ جيد ونحن نؤيده تماما، مؤكدا دعم مسقط للهدنة الأممية.

وأضاف البوسعيدي أن خلاصة القول هي أن السلام في اليمن ومستقبله هو قرار استراتيجي يتخذه في الأساس اليمنيون أنفسهم، ولا يمكن فرضه من الخارج لأن هذا لن يجلب سلاما حقيقيا ولا سلاما دائما.
واستدرك ..أما دورنا ودور المجتمع الدولي فهو دعم جميع الأطراف اليمنية وهم يتخذون الخطوات الصعبة والشجاعة ويقدمون التنازلات اللازمة لتحقيق السلام الذي يعكس تطلعاتهم المشتركة لمستقبل اليمن والمصالح العليا له..
وبشأن مفاوضات خطة العمل الشاملة المشتركة بين إيران والأعضاء الخمسة الدائمين في مجلس الأمن وألمانيا يقول البوسعيدي إن التوصل إلى نتيجة إيجابية لهذا الملف -عبر الحوار- سيمثل مكسبا كبيرا للسلم والأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي والعالمي. سيستفيد الجميع ولن يكون هناك خاسرون.
