واستشهد “الجندي” على ما سبق بقراءة حديث النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، الذي قال فيه: “إنَّ أعمالَكم تُعرَضُ على أقارِبِكم وعشائِرِكم من الأمواتِ، فإنْ كان خَيْرًا اسْتَبْشَروا به، وإنْ كان غَيْرَ ذلك قالوا: اللهمَّ لا تُمِتْهم، حتى تَهديَهم كما هَدَيْتَنا”.
وتابع: “النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: (حياتي خير لكم ومماتي خير لكم. تعرض عليّ أعمالكم فما رأيت من خير حمدت الله عليه، وما رأيت من شر استغفرت الله لكم)”.
